According to data from the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in May 2024, the export of medicinal and aromatic plants (HS Code: 1211) amounted to 244.9 metric tons.

Compared to the previous month, the export decreased by 226.9 metric tons (-48.1%).

Year-on-year, the export of medicinal and aromatic plants rose by 21.9 metric tons (+9.8%) compared to May 2023.

The export dropped by 102.6 metric tons (-29.5%) compared to the same month two years ago (May 2022).

YTD, the export of medicinal and aromatic plants amounted to 3.1 thsd metric tons, which is 1.1 thsd metric tons (+52.4%) more compared to the same period last year.
