According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in May 2025, the export of salt (HS Code: 2501) amounted to 1.8 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the export dropped by 199.1 metric tons (-9.8%).
In comparison to May 2024, the export of salt showed a year-on-year decrease of 513.6 metric tons (-21.9%).
In comparison to the same month two years ago (May 2023), the export increased by 1.1 thsd metric tons (2.7 times).
The YTD export of salt amounted to 8.9 thsd metric tons, decreasing by 2.3 thsd metric tons (-20.8%) compared to the same period last year.
