According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the export of crude oil (HS Code: 2709) in January 2024 reached 1.5 mln metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the export decreased by 385.6 thsd metric tons (-20.9%).
Year-on-year, the export of crude oil dropped by 783.8 thsd metric tons (-34.9%) compared to January 2023.
The export dropped by 2.0 mln metric tons (2.4 times) compared to the same month two years ago (January 2022).
