According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in August 2025, the export of electricity (HS Code: 2716) totaled 182.5 mln kWh.
The export grew by 124.8 mln kWh (3.2 times) compared to the previous month.
Compared to August 2024, the export of electricity year-on-year increased by 104.9 mln kWh (2.4 times).
Relative to the same month two years ago (August 2023), the export rose by 161.7 mln kWh (8.8 times).
The export of electricity YTD amounted to 919.9 mln kWh, falling by 98.8 mln kWh (-9.7%) compared to the previous year.
