According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the export of cotton fiber (HS Code: 5201) in October 2024 amounted to 7.1 thsd metric tons.
The export dropped by 1.7 thsd metric tons (-19.4%) compared to the previous month.
Compared to October 2023, the export of cotton fiber year-on-year increased by 1.3 thsd metric tons (+22.7%).
Relative to the same month two years ago (October 2022), the export rose by 4.9 thsd metric tons (3.2 times).
The export of cotton fiber YTD amounted to 106.5 thsd metric tons, exceeding last year's value by 52.6 thsd metric tons (+97.5%).
