According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in May 2025, the export of cotton fiber (HS Code: 5201) amounted to 18.2 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the export grew by 3.8 thsd metric tons (+26.3%).
Year-on-year, the export of cotton fiber rose by 4.5 thsd metric tons (+33.1%) compared to May 2024.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (May 2023), the export increased by 12.1 thsd metric tons (3.0 times).
YTD, the export of cotton fiber totaled 59.3 thsd metric tons, which is 5.9 thsd metric tons (-9.1%) less than last year's figure.
