According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in August 2025, the export of cotton fiber (HS Code: 5201) amounted to 11.6 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the export increased by 4.8 thsd metric tons (+72.0%).
In comparison to August 2024, the export of cotton fiber showed a year-on-year increase of 2.4 thsd metric tons (+25.8%).
Relative to the same month two years ago (August 2023), the export rose by 9.0 thsd metric tons (4.6 times).
Year-to-date, the export of cotton fiber reached 84.3 thsd metric tons, down by 6.2 thsd metric tons (-6.9%) compared to last year.
