According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in May 2024, the export of cotton waste (HS Code: 5202) amounted to 151.5 metric tons.
The export dropped by 51.3 metric tons (-25.3%) compared to the previous month.
Year-on-year, the export of cotton waste rose by 95.8 metric tons (2.7 times) compared to May 2023.
The export dropped by 739.2 metric tons (5.9 times) compared to the same month two years ago (May 2022).
The YTD export of cotton waste reached 456.1 metric tons, increasing by 338.5 metric tons (3.9 times) compared to last year.
