Azerbaijan: Exports of cotton yarn for May 2024

According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in May 2024, the export of cotton yarn (HS Code: 5205) amounted to 699.5 metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the export grew by 65.0 metric tons (+10.2%).
In comparison to May 2023, the export of cotton yarn showed a year-on-year increase of 148.7 metric tons (+27.0%).
Relative to the same month two years ago (May 2022), the export declined by 221.3 metric tons (-24.0%).
The YTD export of cotton yarn amounted to 3.3 thsd metric tons, decreasing by 1.8 thsd metric tons (-35.5%) compared to the same period last year.
