According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the export of stainless steel (HS Code: 7218) in August 2024 amounted to 120.0 metric tons.
The export dropped by 22.9 metric tons (-16.1%) compared to the previous month.
Year-on-year, the export of stainless steel rose by 72.7 metric tons (2.5 times) compared to August 2023.
The export grew by 98.3 metric tons (5.5 times) compared to the same month two years ago (August 2022).
YTD, the export of stainless steel totaled 1.2 thsd metric tons, which is 66.0 metric tons (-5.2%) less than last year's figure.
