According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of corn (HS Code: 1005) in December 2024 amounted to 17.7 thsd metric tons.
The import grew by 15.9 thsd metric tons (9.7 times) compared to the previous month.
In comparison to December 2023, the import of corn showed a year-on-year increase of 10.2 thsd metric tons (2.4 times).
Relative to the same month two years ago (December 2022), the import rose by 3.2 thsd metric tons (+22.4%).
The YTD import of corn reached 85.3 thsd metric tons, increasing by 12.2 thsd metric tons (+16.7%) compared to last year.
