According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of corn (HS Code: 1005) in March 2024 reached 19.4 thsd metric tons.
The import increased by 10.7 thsd metric tons (2.2 times) compared to the previous month.
Year-on-year, the import of corn rose by 14.4 thsd metric tons (3.9 times) compared to March 2023.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (March 2022), the import increased by 16.1 thsd metric tons (5.8 times).
YTD, the import of corn amounted to 30.3 thsd metric tons, which is 7.7 thsd metric tons (+33.8%) more compared to the same period last year.
