According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of corn (HS Code: 1005) in April 2024 amounted to 19.1 thsd metric tons.
The import decreased by 355.3 metric tons (-1.8%) compared to the previous month.
Year-on-year, the import of corn rose by 9.0 thsd metric tons (+89.2%) compared to April 2023.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (April 2022), the import increased by 12.3 thsd metric tons (2.8 times).
The YTD import of corn reached 49.4 thsd metric tons, increasing by 16.7 thsd metric tons (+50.8%) compared to last year.
