According to data from the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of confectionery (HS Code: 1704) in May 2025 reached 1.9 thsd metric tons.

The import grew by 134.7 metric tons (+7.6%) compared to the previous month.

Year-on-year, the import of confectionery dropped by 267.0 metric tons (-12.3%) compared to May 2024.

Compared to the same month two years ago (May 2023), the import decreased by 480.7 metric tons (-20.1%).

YTD, the import of confectionery totaled 8.4 thsd metric tons, which is 951.8 metric tons (-10.1%) less than last year's figure.
