According to data from the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in December 2025, the import of petroleum (HS Code: 2710) amounted to 35.6 thsd metric tons.

The import grew by 16.1 thsd metric tons (+82.7%) compared to the previous month.

Year-on-year, the import of petroleum declined by 85.2 thsd metric tons (3.4 times) compared to December 2024.

Relative to the same month two years ago (December 2023), the import declined by 8.8 thsd metric tons (-19.8%).

The YTD import of petroleum amounted to 623.5 thsd metric tons, decreasing by 337.6 thsd metric tons (-35.1%) compared to the same period last year.
