According to data from the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of petroleum (HS Code: 2710) in May 2025 amounted to 56.0 thsd metric tons.

Compared to the previous month, the import decreased by 48.1 thsd metric tons (-46.2%).

Year-on-year, the import of petroleum dropped by 28.5 thsd metric tons (-33.7%) compared to May 2024.

The import dropped by 25.8 thsd metric tons (-31.6%) compared to the same month two years ago (May 2023).

The YTD import of petroleum reached 410.3 thsd metric tons, increasing by 77.0 thsd metric tons (+23.1%) compared to last year.
