According to data from the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in August 2025, the import of petroleum (HS Code: 2710) totaled 28.2 thsd metric tons.

The import dropped by 3.2 thsd metric tons (-10.2%) compared to the previous month.

Year-on-year, the import of petroleum dropped by 26.2 thsd metric tons (-48.2%) compared to August 2024.

In comparison to the same month two years ago (August 2023), the import showed a decrease of 76.9 thsd metric tons (3.7 times).

YTD, the import of petroleum amounted to 514.2 thsd metric tons, which is 22.4 thsd metric tons (+4.6%) more compared to the same period last year.
