According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in August 2025, the import of fresh fish (HS Code: 302) totaled 449.9 metric tons.
The import increased by 156.3 metric tons (+53.2%) compared to the previous month.
Year-on-year, the import of fresh fish rose by 155.6 metric tons (+52.9%) compared to August 2024.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (August 2023), the import increased by 235.2 metric tons (2.1 times).
YTD, the import of fresh fish amounted to 3.7 thsd metric tons, which is 709.7 metric tons (+23.8%) more compared to the same period last year.
