According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of soap (HS Code: 3401) in September 2024 reached 2.2 thsd metric tons.
The import increased by 330.7 metric tons (+17.3%) compared to the previous month.
In comparison to September 2023, the import of soap showed a year-on-year increase of 862.5 metric tons (+62.3%).
Two years ago, in the same month (September 2022), the import increased by 1.3 thsd metric tons (2.5 times).
The YTD import of soap reached 15.8 thsd metric tons, increasing by 1.7 thsd metric tons (+11.8%) compared to last year.
