According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of soap (HS Code: 3401) in March 2025 amounted to 1.4 thsd metric tons.
The import increased by 61.2 metric tons (+4.5%) compared to the previous month.
Year-on-year, the import of soap dropped by 35.7 metric tons (-2.4%) compared to March 2024.
Relative to the same month two years ago (March 2023), the import declined by 496.0 metric tons (-25.8%).
The YTD import of soap amounted to 4.2 thsd metric tons, decreasing by 99.8 metric tons (-2.3%) compared to the same period last year.
