According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in August 2025, the import of soap (HS Code: 3401) amounted to 2.0 thsd metric tons.
The import dropped by 214.9 metric tons (-9.7%) compared to the previous month.
In comparison to August 2024, the import of soap showed a year-on-year increase of 76.3 metric tons (+4.0%).
Compared to the same month two years ago (August 2023), the import decreased by 280.5 metric tons (-12.3%).
YTD, the import of soap amounted to 13.9 thsd metric tons, which is 398.2 metric tons (+2.9%) more compared to the same period last year.
