Azerbaijan: Imports of plastic containers for May 2025

According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of plastic containers (HS Code: 3923) in May 2025 reached 1.8 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import increased by 282.4 metric tons (+18.5%).
Year-on-year, the import of plastic containers dropped by 53.5 metric tons (-2.9%) compared to May 2024.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (May 2023), the import increased by 208.7 metric tons (+13.0%).
YTD, the import of plastic containers amounted to 7.7 thsd metric tons, which is 446.3 metric tons (+6.2%) more compared to the same period last year.
