Azerbaijan: Imports of synthetic fabrics for April 2024

According to data from the State Customs Committee of , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in April 2024, the import of synthetic fabrics (HS Code: 5407) amounted to 9.0 mln m2.

The import increased by 1.1 mln m2 (+13.8%) compared to the previous month.

The import of synthetic fabrics year-on-year, compared to April 2023, grew by 3.4 mln m2 (+60.3%).

Two years ago, in the same month (April 2022), the import increased by 104.7 thsd m2 (+1.2%).

The import of synthetic fabrics YTD amounted to 33.9 mln m2, falling by 4.3 mln m2 (-11.3%) compared to the previous year.
