Azerbaijan: Imports of synthetic fabrics for June 2024

According to data from the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in June 2024, the import of synthetic fabrics (HS Code: 5407) totaled 7.6 mln m2.

Compared to the previous month, the import decreased by 2.4 mln m2 (-23.8%).

In comparison to June 2023, the import of synthetic fabrics showed a year-on-year decrease of 227.0 thsd m2 (-2.9%).

The import grew by 555.4 thsd m2 (+7.9%) compared to the same month two years ago (June 2022).

YTD, the import of synthetic fabrics totaled 51.5 mln m2, which is 4.5 mln m2 (-8.1%) less than last year's figure.
