According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in December 2024, the import of potatoes (HS Code: 701) amounted to 24.6 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import increased by 3.6 thsd metric tons (+17.1%).
The import of potatoes year-on-year, compared to December 2023, grew by 7.5 thsd metric tons (+43.6%).
Two years ago, in the same month (December 2022), the import increased by 8.7 thsd metric tons (+54.5%).
Year-to-date, the import of potatoes reached 149.2 thsd metric tons, down by 23.5 thsd metric tons (-13.6%) compared to last year.
