, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of potatoes (HS Code: 701) in May 2024 reached 3.4 thsd metric tons.
The import decreased by 15.3 thsd metric tons (5.5 times) compared to the previous month.
Year-on-year, the import of potatoes rose by 630.1 metric tons (+22.7%) compared to May 2023.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (May 2022), the import showed a decrease of 9.8 thsd metric tons (3.9 times).
