According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of fresh vegetables (HS Code: 709) in October 2024 amounted to 308.9 metric tons.
The import grew by 211.8 metric tons (3.2 times) compared to the previous month.
Compared to October 2023, the import of fresh vegetables year-on-year increased by 130.9 metric tons (+73.5%).
Two years ago, in the same month (October 2022), the import increased by 25.1 metric tons (+8.8%).
The import of fresh vegetables YTD amounted to 18.2 thsd metric tons, exceeding last year's value by 4.6 thsd metric tons (+34.3%).
