According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of bananas (HS Code: 803) in February 2024 amounted to 5.4 thsd metric tons.
The import grew by 271.3 metric tons (+5.3%) compared to the previous month.
In comparison to February 2023, the import of bananas showed a year-on-year increase of 529.9 metric tons (+10.8%).
In comparison to the same month two years ago (February 2022), the import showed a decrease of 213.4 metric tons (-3.8%).
The YTD import of bananas reached 10.6 thsd metric tons, increasing by 2.5 thsd metric tons (+31.0%) compared to last year.
