, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of bananas (HS Code: 803) in July 2024 amounted to 2.9 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import decreased by 543.9 metric tons (-15.6%).
Year-on-year, the import of bananas declined by 483.8 metric tons (-14.1%) compared to July 2023.
Compared to the same month two years ago (July 2022), the import decreased by 1.0 thsd metric tons (-25.7%).
The YTD import of bananas reached 35.6 thsd metric tons, increasing by 6.3 thsd metric tons (+21.6%) compared to last year.
