According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of stoppers and caps (HS Code: 8309) in May 2024 amounted to 965.7 metric tons.
The import grew by 556.3 metric tons (2.4 times) compared to the previous month.
Year-on-year, the import of stoppers and caps rose by 516.9 metric tons (2.2 times) compared to May 2023.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (May 2022), the import increased by 567.0 metric tons (2.4 times).
YTD, the import of stoppers and caps amounted to 1.8 thsd metric tons, which is 157.1 metric tons (+9.7%) more compared to the same period last year.
