According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in May 2024, the import of diesel engines (HS Code: 8408) amounted to 1.3 thsd pcs.
The import increased by 384.0 pcs (+42.5%) compared to the previous month.
In comparison to May 2023, the import of diesel engines showed a year-on-year increase of 568.0 pcs (+79.0%).
The import grew by 653.0 pcs (2.0 times) compared to the same month two years ago (May 2022).
The import of diesel engines YTD amounted to 3.8 thsd pcs, exceeding last year's value by 840.0 pcs (+28.6%).
