According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of diesel engines (HS Code: 8408) in July 2024 reached 4.1 thsd pcs.
The import increased by 3.4 thsd pcs (5.4 times) compared to the previous month.
The import of diesel engines year-on-year, compared to July 2023, grew by 3.1 thsd pcs (4.0 times).
Two years ago, in the same month (July 2022), the import increased by 3.6 thsd pcs (8.5 times).
YTD, the import of diesel engines amounted to 8.7 thsd pcs, which is 3.9 thsd pcs (+82.6%) more compared to the same period last year.
