According to data from the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of electric motors (HS Code: 8501) in August 2024 reached 27.5 thsd pcs.

The import dropped by 4.2 thsd pcs (-13.2%) compared to the previous month.

Year-on-year, the import of electric motors dropped by 26.8 thsd pcs (-49.4%) compared to August 2023.

Relative to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the import rose by 7.6 thsd pcs (+38.5%).

The import of electric motors YTD amounted to 362.2 thsd pcs, exceeding last year's value by 95.6 thsd pcs (+35.9%).
