According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in August 2025, the import of carbon electrodes (HS Code: 8545) amounted to 3.4 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import grew by 1.7 thsd metric tons (2.0 times).
Year-on-year, the import of carbon electrodes rose by 1.5 thsd metric tons (+79.5%) compared to August 2024.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (August 2023), the import increased by 756.2 metric tons (+28.8%).
YTD, the import of carbon electrodes totaled 15.8 thsd metric tons, which is 9.2 thsd metric tons (-36.9%) less than last year's figure.
