, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of tea (HS Code: 902) in December 2024 amounted to 1.5 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import grew by 860.8 metric tons (2.4 times).
The import of tea year-on-year, compared to December 2023, grew by 295.5 metric tons (+24.7%).
Two years ago, in the same month (December 2022), the import increased by 243.6 metric tons (+19.5%).
The YTD import of tea reached 14.4 thsd metric tons, increasing by 711.8 metric tons (+5.2%) compared to last year.
