, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in May 2024, the import of tea (HS Code: 902) amounted to 1.5 thsd metric tons.
The import grew by 332.3 metric tons (+27.4%) compared to the previous month.
The import of tea year-on-year, compared to May 2023, grew by 651.8 metric tons (+73.1%).
Two years ago, in the same month (May 2022), the import increased by 627.0 metric tons (+68.4%).
The YTD import of tea amounted to 5.1 thsd metric tons, decreasing by 253.8 metric tons (-4.7%) compared to the same period last year.
