Azerbaijan: Imports of sanitary pads for August 2024

According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of sanitary pads (HS Code: 9619) in August 2024 amounted to 1.9 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import grew by 62.0 metric tons (+3.4%).
In comparison to August 2023, the import of sanitary pads showed a year-on-year increase of 286.5 metric tons (+17.8%).
In comparison to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the import increased by 306.8 metric tons (+19.3%).
The import of sanitary pads YTD amounted to 10.6 thsd metric tons, exceeding last year's value by 107.1 metric tons (+1.0%).
