According to data from the National Statistics Office of , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of rice (HS Code: 1006) in March 2025 reached 1.6 thsd metric tons.

Compared to the previous month, the import increased by 371.0 metric tons (+29.6%).

Compared to March 2024, the import of rice year-on-year increased by 1.3 thsd metric tons (4.7 times).

Relative to the same month two years ago (March 2023), the import rose by 1.0 thsd metric tons (2.8 times).

The YTD import of rice reached 4.7 thsd metric tons, increasing by 2.1 thsd metric tons (+78.8%) compared to last year.
