According to data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) in December 2025 reached 1.1 bln pcs.

The import increased by 394.6 mln pcs (+59.7%) compared to the previous month.

Compared to December 2024, the import of cigars and cigarettes year-on-year increased by 140.2 mln pcs (+15.3%).

Two years ago, in the same month (December 2023), the import increased by 72.8 mln pcs (+7.4%).

The YTD import of cigars and cigarettes amounted to 8.4 bln pcs, decreasing by 1.3 bln pcs (-13.9%) compared to the same period last year.
