According to data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in February 2025, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) amounted to 494.4 mln pcs.

Compared to the previous month, the import grew by 240.9 mln pcs (+95.1%).

Year-on-year, the import of cigars and cigarettes declined by 967.1 mln pcs (3.0 times) compared to February 2024.

Relative to the same month two years ago (February 2023), the import declined by 88.3 mln pcs (-15.2%).

The import of cigars and cigarettes YTD amounted to 747.8 mln pcs, falling by 867.3 mln pcs (2.2 times) compared to the previous year.
