, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of tobacco (HS Code: 2403) in July 2024 amounted to 139.7 metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import decreased by 61.7 metric tons (-30.6%).
Year-on-year, the import of tobacco dropped by 234.3 metric tons (2.7 times) compared to July 2023.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (July 2022), the import increased by 56.0 metric tons (+66.9%).
YTD, the import of tobacco totaled 1.2 thsd metric tons, which is 72.1 metric tons (-5.8%) less than last year's figure.
