According to data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in July 2024, the import of packaging containers (HS Code: 4819) totaled 1.3 thsd metric tons.

The import grew by 35.8 metric tons (+2.9%) compared to the previous month.

In comparison to July 2023, the import of packaging containers showed a year-on-year increase of 316.1 metric tons (+33.5%).

Relative to the same month two years ago (July 2022), the import rose by 324.6 metric tons (+34.7%).

The YTD import of packaging containers reached 7.8 thsd metric tons, increasing by 2.0 thsd metric tons (+35.3%) compared to last year.
