According to data from the National Statistics Office of , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of food processing machinery (HS Code: 8438) in September 2024 reached 162.2 metric tons.

Compared to the previous month, the import decreased by 67.7 metric tons (-29.5%).

Compared to September 2023, the import of food processing machinery year-on-year increased by 37.9 metric tons (+30.5%).

In comparison to the same month two years ago (September 2022), the import increased by 117.4 metric tons (3.6 times).

YTD, the import of food processing machinery amounted to 954.6 metric tons, which is 151.2 metric tons (+18.8%) more compared to the same period last year.
