According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the export of confectionery (HS Code: 1704) in April 2024 amounted to 2.0 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the export increased by 220.8 metric tons (+12.5%).
In comparison to April 2023, the export of confectionery showed a year-on-year decrease of 484.3 metric tons (-19.6%).
The export grew by 177.4 metric tons (+9.8%) compared to the same month two years ago (April 2022).
The YTD export of confectionery amounted to 6.5 thsd metric tons, decreasing by 367.6 metric tons (-5.4%) compared to the same period last year.
