According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in September 2024, the export of asbestos (HS Code: 2524) amounted to 33.0 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the export grew by 8.4 thsd metric tons (+33.9%).
The export of asbestos year-on-year, compared to September 2023, grew by 7.3 thsd metric tons (+28.3%).
Two years ago, in the same month (September 2022), the export increased by 13.5 thsd metric tons (+68.9%).
The export of asbestos YTD amounted to 181.4 thsd metric tons, falling by 32.5 thsd metric tons (-15.2%) compared to the previous year.
