According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in April 2024, the export of iron ores (HS Code: 2601) totaled 778.0 thsd metric tons.
The export dropped by 375.6 thsd metric tons (-32.6%) compared to the previous month.
In comparison to April 2023, the export of iron ores showed a year-on-year decrease of 203.8 thsd metric tons (-20.8%).
Relative to the same month two years ago (April 2022), the export rose by 26.1 thsd metric tons (+3.5%).
Year-to-date, the export of iron ores totaled 3.6 mln metric tons, up by 280.9 thsd metric tons (+8.6%) compared to the previous year.
