According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in June 2024, the export of iron ores (HS Code: 2601) amounted to 745.2 thsd metric tons.
The export dropped by 349.5 thsd metric tons (-31.9%) compared to the previous month.
Year-on-year, the export of iron ores dropped by 325.5 thsd metric tons (-30.4%) compared to June 2023.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (June 2022), the export increased by 87.4 thsd metric tons (+13.3%).
Year-to-date, the export of iron ores totaled 5.4 mln metric tons, up by 288.4 thsd metric tons (+5.6%) compared to the previous year.
