Kazakhstan: Exports of coal, briquettes for August 2024

According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the export of coal, briquettes (HS Code: 2701) in August 2024 reached 2.5 mln metric tons.

Compared to the previous month, the export increased by 93.3 thsd metric tons (+3.8%).

Year-on-year, the export of coal, briquettes rose by 183.0 thsd metric tons (+7.8%) compared to August 2023.

Two years ago, in the same month (August 2022), the export increased by 151.2 thsd metric tons (+6.4%).

Year-to-date, the export of coal, briquettes reached 17.0 mln metric tons, down by 1.6 mln metric tons (-8.6%) compared to last year.
