Kazakhstan: Exports of lignite for February 2024

According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the export of lignite (HS Code: 2702) in February 2024 reached 287.9 thsd metric tons.

The export increased by 174.9 thsd metric tons (2.5 times) compared to the previous month.

Year-on-year, the export of lignite declined by 47.9 thsd metric tons (-14.3%) compared to February 2023.

In comparison to the same month two years ago (February 2022), the export showed a decrease of 108.6 thsd metric tons (-27.4%).

The YTD export of lignite amounted to 401.0 thsd metric tons, decreasing by 120.3 thsd metric tons (-23.1%) compared to the same period last year.
