According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the export of carbides (HS Code: 2849) in August 2024 amounted to 2.3 thsd metric tons.
The export increased by 634.3 metric tons (+37.9%) compared to the previous month.
The export of carbides year-on-year, compared to August 2023, grew by 278.5 metric tons (+13.7%).
Two years ago, in the same month (August 2022), the export increased by 876.8 metric tons (+61.3%).
The YTD export of carbides amounted to 12.4 thsd metric tons, decreasing by 5.6 thsd metric tons (-31.2%) compared to the same period last year.
